In todays game update 1.7.2, a new reputation was added.  The Contraband Resale Corporation is a reputation that is only leveled via items from the new Cartel Market items.  Just as with other reputations, there are green, blue and purple level reputation trophies that come from the new shipment of cartel packs that dropped today.  The interesting thing about this reputation at first glance is that the weekly reputation cap is much much higher than other reputations.




Once you increase your reputation by obtaining the trophies from cartel packs (reminder, you will be able to purchase packs from the GTN with credits, just like the others), you can head to the crew skill area of your respective factions fleet to find a new area added.  Look for the big Hutt!



There are three vendors in this area.  The first vendor has all the retired Cartel Market chest pieces that were removed in todays update for 40k credits and newcomer status.



The second vendor has rare cartel market items that are purchased with a combination of rep standing, credits, and a new token that is a rare drop from cartel packs, the Cartel Market Certificate.
